What will the cosmic future be like? The moment we make contact (if we haven’t already, howbeit secretly) with other forms of life or other forms of life make contact with us, history will change for ever.

The vastness of the universe, galaxies and stars out there are likely to have a purpose beyond just ‘existing’, allegedly void and destitute of other forms of complex life. Other civilizations.

My beef with UFOs, again, is that they do NOTHING measurable. Here’s another account of a sneaky aircraft hovering above some trees somewhere in Sweden. The author swears that the event that took place is real and that he didn’t CGI it or create something fake.

Why bother creating something fake anyway? It’s not like the video is going to go viral without some Hollywood type action on the part of the elusive, silverish flying object that seems to be scared of humans. If its spaceship inhabitants do not want to be seen of filmed, why not use the “cloak?” Anyway, see for yourself, another no-action UFO doing what UFOs do: nothing.

There are a handful of cultures that abate (kill) and eat dogs.  Does the thought of someone killing a perfectly healthy dog make you sick to your stomach?  In other cultures, they see no difference between the killing of cows, chickens and sheep – billions yearly by the way – and the killing of canines for food.

In Brazil, the wicked have found a way to make money by selling dogs to workers on Korean ships that dock in the seaport of Santos in the state of Sao Paulo. Korean sea men most likely kill the dogs for food or sell them to dog slaughterhouses when they get home. I’ve been to South Korea and I know for a fact that many people there to kill and eat dogs. While I was there on a business trip, our S. Korean business associate  warned us about eating meat in his country and we didn’t.

I don’t know about you, but the thought of killing a dog for food does not sit right with me. I personally dislike any animal killing unless it’s for self-defense. Dogs, the types that you see in the picture above, are mostly docile and friendly. It’s hard to imagine that all of them have already been killed and digested. They’ve probably been hit in the head with a hammer or bled to death.

Among many Koreans, dogs are not necessarily man’s best friend. It’s man’s best meal. As intelligent as most Koreans are, I suspect that many of them do not agree with dog-eating practices. Yet, many do and the dog market in South Korea is still active.

Don’t we feel lucky that by some divine or natural means, you and I were not born dogs or cows or some other “inferior” creature? Especially creatures that cannot speak for themselves?

Killing and eating dogs and cats (China) says a lot about the deplorable and decadent and sometimes barbaric state of sub-humankind.  It’s obvious that not humans have evolved into superior creatures that respect life forms. Savages have been known for animal cruelty. But psychopathic humans have also enslaved and killed people for stupid reasons. Savages have also been known to eat people. They were/are called cannibals.

It is interesting that man likes to elevate himself above the animal kingdom and yet, many humans kill all sort of animals for fun and profit. Man has also been known to kill his own kind because of ideologies and unrighteous dominion.

There are corporations in the U.S. and abroad that even create hunting preserves where people pay money in order to hunt for fun.  Sometimes I wonder why  the Governor of the Universe allows millions  of innocent lives get commercialized, tortured, suffer unimaginable pain and bleed to death every single day only to provide humans with animal flesh for nutrition. Maybe all this flesh-eating and blood-spilling will keep hospitals and big pharma busy selling drugs to all the millions of people that end up dying from years  ingesting meat contaminated with growth hormones and animal body parts that they blindly trust as being wholesome and good for them.

Maybe there is something Satanic that requires humans to sacrifice and eat the flesh of animals. I guess if animals were meant to be sacrificed and eaten for food, there would have been an Animal Farm in the biblical story about the creation of Man rather than a Garden of Eden. Furthermore, the “fruit” of the tree of good and evil would have been a steak instead.

You’d think that the concept of an all-loving Creator implies a great love towards ALL of His creatures yet so many people like to patronize G-d’s love as being exclusive to humans.

People Who Kill & Eat Dogs ORIGINAL AT I am, therefore I blog. on March 15, 2012.

Although I have better things to occupy my mind during a regular day, I was wondering about the rights of an airline, a bus or a theater staff member to kick out/off a person or a family of a child that’s misbehaving or being  disruptive of the peace and quiet of others.

I remember an occasion when we went see a movie and a screaming child began to disrupt the movie.   How can you have a good time and pay attention to the movie when there is a screaming child and a seemly oblivious parent somewhere in the front, middle or back row? But in this case, the Mom wasn’t oblivious.

She actually m stood up and took the screaming child to the back of the theater. The kid kept on crying and having a temper tantrum. For a few minutes, it looked like people put up with it quietly, hoping the child would stop screaming. Finally, an older couple just had enough and asked the Mom to please take her screaming child out to the hallway or somewhere else so the rest of the movie-goers could enjoy what they paid for.  The Mom complied, picked up her stuff and left the theater altogether.

I felt sorry for her. I am sure that she too wanted to watch the movie.

Now let’s say that happens on a 4-hour flight and some kid won’t stop screaming and having a fit and you start to get a headache?  You paid $800 for the trip and a free headaches comes free and you can’t sleep or peacefully read a magazine?  What do you do when that happens in Church. You’ve been invited to give that beautiful, eloquent and spiritual sermon to uplift your small congregation only to have some kid screaming and taking away the quietness required to “feel the Spirit” kind of thing? Should the Mom or Dad take the kid outside? Or should you be compassionate, patient and put up with the screaming and disruption? Especially when part of your sermon refers to: “Let the little children come unto me and forbid them not…” Matthew 19:14

What about a screaming kid at a restaurant while you’re trying to have a peaceful dinner after a hard week’s work and it so happens that it’s your spouse’s birthday dinner?

Should people be more responsible and not bring in babies and screaming children to movies?

My opinion is that ALL of us were a kid once but how quickly we forget.

Money. It seems like almost everyone wants it and most people can’t do without it. Money makes the world go around so to speak. The more money you have, the more things you can acquire in this world thus gaining perceived or real power and influence.

Some people inherit money by being born into  wealthy families while others simply find their way to riches through some business, patent, the lottery or some idea that catches on and generates large sums of cash. Some people make money ethically and honestly while others make money by ripping off people or by taking advantage of addictions and weaknesses.

If you think about how much time of your life is dedicated to either earning money or worrying about it, you will find that most people spend most of their waking moments dealing with money one way or another  and even when you die it takes money to take care of you, your health or even to bury you.

It’s been said that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. That’s probably true. Money can be used for good and for evil depending on what hands it lands.  You go to work because of it and you know that if you go too long without it you can even die destitute, hungry and homeless. If you do not master the art of making money, you can literally starve to death if someone or some system doesn’t spend the money it takes to take care of you.

As far as I am concerned, I admit that I would like not to have to worry about money. I think I could be comfortable as a millionaire. I think I could have fun getting some toys, real estate and things. I think I could ease the pain and suffering of many if I were wealthy. I don’t think money would buy happiness  but it would go a long ways in putting a smile on mine and other people’s faces.

On the other hand, it’s been said that: “What’s the use of gaining the whole world and losing one’s soul?”

Money is so important, though, that you couldn’t even run either a small or large church without it.

While you sit there and think about money, the middle-class in America is quickly vanishing to make room for more poor people and a few more super rich ones.

YouTube has dozens of videos depicting strange sounds allegedly coming from the sky.   From a Biblical point of view, these sounds could be interpreted as  the prophetic  trumpets, heralding the end of times and other events. Except, no significant events have occurred after people claim to have heard these strange noises in the sky.

There is always the possibility that many of the videos we see are the result of  people who have way too much time in their hands. In other words, hoaxes. However, the increased number of videos from various parts of the world tend to decrease the possibility of your typical YT hoax. Whatever these sounds are, they’re big!

• What’s generating them?
• Where are they coming from?
• Most importantly, what’s the purpose?
• Are they divine, cosmic, natural or man-made?

The golden statue that sits on top of all Mormon temple spires represents the heralding of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, from the east. (This one in Utah was partially black because it was hit by lightning a while back. It’s been fixed since.)

Notice the big long trumpet. It symbolizes that a trumpet would sound before Christ returns. The sound of the trumpet(s) would be heard throughout the world. Or maybe this was the best way old scribes had to describe the kind of noise that humanity will hear before the Second Coming.

If the world doesn’t end within the next 50-500,000 years, darn, many of us will miss seeing the world’s greatest event, right?

Imagine if all of a sudden there was no access to Google, Facebook, Twitter or Amazon.  Offline sales of Prozac might triple.  Seriously, how would people react?  Well,  as bad as that might sound, unless all other alternative search engines and social network sites were also inaccessible, I think that most people would survive just fine.

What if there was no Internet at all? All blogs gone. All online news, gone.  No more easy and instant access to local, regional and global information or the latest and usually useless celebrity gossip.  Businesses would suffer especially those that depend greatly on online sales, such as eBay and others.  Exchange of information would come to a halt.  Industries that totally depend on the Internet to make money would go bankrupt.  Big and small  hosting companies and Internet providers would incur huge financial losses.

Lots of people would lose.

The Internet has become essential to societies worldwide. What would we do without it? Well, probably the same things we did without it before. However, the quality and diversity of offline  news and information would become substandard and unreliable.

Of course, if the world really ends in 2012 none of this will really matter…
